If you need to setup SSL in IIS but don't want to pay for cert signing
now, please visit:

http://www.cmsweb.com/ca/personal-sign-form.php3 New window

-> complete all information (i.e. Country Code, Company Name, email ...)
-> Once you complete all information it should give you a confirmation number which is used as password while installing certificate
-> Check your email and save the file sent by certificate authority or you can download that file from confirmation page itself and save on your hard drive.
-> Now Right click on the site in IIS Manager and goto Directory Security tab
-> Select Import from *.pfx file

Now try

https://localhost
