You probably already know that if you select multiple controls on a form you can use the Property Window to change one of their common property in one single operation. However, here is a trick that is likely to be ignored by most programmer (included me, until recently).
If you want to copy a number of property from one control to one or more other controls, you can
(1) select the control you want to copy from, (2) press Shift and select the other controls, (3) press F4 to show the Property Window, and (4) triple-click the name of the properties you want to copy. Note that you must click the name of the property on the left, not the value cell on the right.
This tricks works with most, but not all, the properties in the Properties window. |
